Project Administrator
- Maureen Dunn

- I have worked within administration since leaving school.Prior to working with
NRCEMH, I worked for Glasgow City Council's Social Work Department for 12 years.
- My first job was with an out of hours Social Work Department
who provided emergency social work services for the west of Scotland. I worked there for 10 years
and gained vast experience in administration. My main role was to maintain the Child Protection
Register for the west of Scotland.
- I then moved to the West of Scotland Consortium, who co-ordinated
training for Mental Health, Practice Teaching and the Diploma in Social Work. During my time there,
I became involved in the Anti-discriminatory Committee. This raised my awareness to many issues of
discrimination, particularly the shortage of black Social Work students in Scotland.
- In October 2002, I took up post as Project Administrator with
the National Resource Centre for Ethnic Minority Health.
