Project Administrator

Maureen Dunn
I have worked within administration since leaving school.Prior to working with NRCEMH, I worked for Glasgow City Council's Social Work Department for 12 years.
My first job was with an out of hours Social Work Department who provided emergency social work services for the west of Scotland. I worked there for 10 years and gained vast experience in administration. My main role was to maintain the Child Protection Register for the west of Scotland.
I then moved to the West of Scotland Consortium, who co-ordinated training for Mental Health, Practice Teaching and the Diploma in Social Work. During my time there, I became involved in the Anti-discriminatory Committee. This raised my awareness to many issues of discrimination, particularly the shortage of black Social Work students in Scotland.
In October 2002, I took up post as Project Administrator with the National Resource Centre for Ethnic Minority Health.
